MacBeth Scenes

So our scene was 5.7 and 5.8 which are the last two in the play. We chose then because the whole story is leading up to this point and its the end of the play! I think our presentation went really well actually! It was entertaining and fun to do. I think because I know the play nothing really changed in my mind but i think other people might have had an easier time understanding whats going on. Hopefully we get a good grade on it!

MacBeth Paper Topic

My paper topic is most likely going to be MacBeth and Lady MacBeth's relationship...
This is what I brainstormed in class....
-Finish each other's sentences
-Compare relationship to Romeo and Juliet or other
-They know about what the other is doing
-Their influence on each other
-Relativism-MacBeth goes crazy, she goes crazy
-When she dies...

Jenna asked me the question.... How do they fed off of each other?
My response is that I can show this through shakespeare's writing...How they finish each other sentences.

Elysa asked me.... Is the relationship real/healthy? Or is it just a political relationship?
I think that it could very well be a political relationship...like Bill and Hillary Clinton....

Macbeth Act 4 & 5 Response

So in Act 4 Macbeth talks to the sisters and he sees dead babies, then is told to watch out for MacDuff. Then MacDuff's family is killed and the son insults the mother. MacDuff is convinced by Malcom that MacBeth is horrible and then is told about his family by Ross.
In the fifth and final act, The doctor comes to visit Lady MacBeth because she is ill. and basically a war happens where everyone gangs up on MacBeth and just before battle Lady MacBeth dies, and then soon her husband slain by Malcolm, who is born of woman!
I like this story, it's just a good plot and its weird...I like it

MacBeth Act 1-3 Response

So I've read MacBeth last year in English, and I think it really helps.
In the first act MacBeth is visited by the sisters of fate and they tell him he's going to be Thane of Cawdor and then King. He freaks out and then is told he is Thane. Him and his friend are baffled by what happens and then think its just a coincidence. Then he writes his wife about what happened and she wants to kill the king. They come together for a dinner and make their plans.
In act two The king is now dead and we see signs of mental unwellness within the crazy lady of a wife to MacBeth. Malcom and Donaldbain flee to ireland and england and everyone thinks they killed the king.
in act three Banquo is killed and Fleance fleas..haha. and MacBeth is haunted by the ghost of Banquo. The three sisters visit Hacute and then thats about it. So far a lot of stuff has happened and its only the beginning!
This book is filled with information beyond belief!
