wow...So for as good as this book was...I hate the ending. Really? thats how its going to end. Stupid.
But we see that the two handmaids and thewife get hung and then Janine loses her baby and that Ofglen hangs herself. offred sees Nick all of the time now and then gets taken into the black van. Nick says its Mayday but you will never ever find out!!! ughh...

Handmaid's tale 199-251

So First off...I can't believe that they went out!!! And second...what the hell is she wearing?!? I'm really confused as to how they described her outfit. And I'm somewhat confused on the Angels....those are the girls in white dresses right? Her daughter is now and Angel and will soon become a handmaid? I'm not entirely sure...but this is getting intense...

So in these few chapters we find out more and more about her past. We find out that she was planning on running away with luke. moira is a lesbian. and offred actually gets to write. i hope something really interesting happens soon!

The Handmaid's Tale 103-147

So this book is sooo good!

In these chapters we find out that Moira escapes, that Janine has a birth, and that the commander loves to play scrabble. I don't understand why he invited her to his room, or why he allowed her to spell, but you can tell that she absolutely loved being able to play with words. She always refreneces them and knows a lot of languages. She can refer to french and latin at least. Her thoughts and what actually is happening confuses me a bit but after a while i figure it out....

The Handmaid's Tale 49-99

So i'm really getting interested in this book. I didn't care much for it but now that i have gotten a little farther I'm starting to like it.
So there was a lot of flashbacks in these chapters...she talks about the school she went to learn how to be a handmaid..then theres an awkward sex scene with the commander and his wife. Then theres another almost with Nick. The book gets kind of intense and you really want to know what happened to her in her past and what might happen in the future

The Handmaid's Tale pg. 1-49

What the hell is going on?!?! This story is so confusing! So basically what i've gotten out of this is that this woman, was once free and then is now basically a sex slave to make babies and get food. She doesn't like to call her room hers, and she thinks that every man wants to make a pass at her. Shes kinda crazy and this story is just absolutely confusing...Maybe talking about it in class will help me understand better.
